Nottm Forest (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Did you watch the game?

Gvardiol and O’Reilly had their worst game together in some time. Texted my brother about how soon it would be before their fucking about on the left side was going to cost us. Well, this time it didn’t, but it didn’t help and put us under needless pressure.

Gvardiol was at fault for the goal, too. Was slow to see the play develop and left himself in no man’s land, hanging O’Reilly out to dry with 2 at the back.

Cherki? MOTM, but you could have got that from anywhere!! ;-)
Reijnders was at fault for the goal not taking the ball with him.

Spot on mate.

Don't get me wrong I was nervous but they didn't do anything to hurt us and the goal came from our mistake.
I don't even see these things as "mistakes", you can't be perfect all of the time in a match. I'd argue that Nunes could have closed the player down more who put the ball into the middle but again, you can't get everything right all of the time. But some on here think we're robots. Could understand it if we were struggling to keep in touch with the top 6 or something, just enjoy the ride people FFS because it's not likely to happen again in our lifetimes.

Dyche the Dick ,he didn`t mention the 500 free kicks he got for Jesus throwing himself to the deck every ten seconds gravelly voiced prick anti football wanker

Love pep to come out and say something about the referee and just throw out there some manager coaches there team for fouls then moan about the referee when they have had all the 50/50 fouls giving to them!

You can tell TNT banked on forest winning. We've had post match analysis about forest fans, the forest goal, the feel good factor, how well are forest playing, how Dyche has changed that family feel for forest, how forest were unlucky to lose, how forest will fare going forward... I could go on but I'm boring my fucking self

Dyche is everything wrong with modern football - tries all game to intimidate the officials - wants his players to push and pull at every set piece then moans when Gibbs White is more intent on falling to the floor instead of just being stronger. No mention of his centre forward nearly seriously injuring Phil with a knee high tackle and spending the entire game (which he should do to be fair) barging into our defenders to gain an advantage.I thought the ref was more on their side all game and gave them many free kicks that were just normal challenges and battles -

All in all his team got what they deserved so shut up big man and we move on.

It's Cherki's world and we are all living in it ha ha....

I've called out Reindeers today. But, and I've not been on the egg nog, with a bit of practice and the right ball delivered could he become a Gundo Mk2 ghosting around in the box...? Obviously for me, there will only ever be one Silky Ilkay, but that goal today had shades of a mini me Gundo.

Wonderful result, we had to battle for that. Cherki is loving the responsibility to be ‘the man’ in this team.

Just seen Sean Dyche interviewed, salty, greeting faced **** of the highest order.

The most innocuous of challenges by Nico O (possibility that mgw had clamped Nick’s arm and softly fell over?)

Joleon stoking it by talking shite too - there’s about 3 of those type of challenges at every single corner.

Anyway, 3 points in the bag at a very difficult place to go. Roll on Sunderland!

Tough away games like that can define a season. We showed the mentality of champions by grinding and scraping to get over the line.

So well done blue boys that was an amazing victory under the circumstances!!

Indeed.

In a few of our title winning seasons we have had plenty of games where we had to grind out games like this. It's a massive part of winning titles.

Its a great thing. We weren't able to really do this 12 months ago.

I feel more reassured when I see we can grind out results. We know we can turn teams over but the question has been if we can still get over the line in these type of games and we are showing we can again.
