If we hadn't had week after week of "I wish we still had Hughes" and "Mancini is rubbish" threads whenever we drop points from people that defended Hughes for 18 months of underperformance I suspect his name wouldn't come up so much when we win.

We should get over the Hughes era, but not only when it suits.
I suggest you check who started this thread. Some people on here can't seerm to resist having pops at Hughes, over 2 months since he left.

So what if people can't resist taint pops at the clueless twat. People couldn't resist taking pops at Sven a good 18 months after he left the job, and he did an infinitely better job than Hughes. People can't resist taking a pop at Pearce four years down the line. People have been having a pop at Swales and the poor Tucker is long gone from this world.

If you don't like it, put up a counter argument, because while people persist in going on about how much better Hughes would have done and how much of a mistake it was tosack him, others will continue to point out just how wrong they were

This thread was started about supporting Mancini because people on here want him (a quality manager) gone.

You just cannot resist can you?
You're the one who brought Hughes' name into it. Check your opening post, if you don't believe me. By the way, for what it's worth, here are my views on supporting the manager (whoever he may be).

Hopefully, that is clear enough for you. If it isn't, I don't know what more I can do to clarify the matter.

I wonder what percentage of those that want Mancini sacked were those that defended Les after 18 months of non achievement.

Is there anyone out there that wanted Hughes sacked, and now want Mancini sacked.

I backed Pearce.
I backed Sven.
I backed Hughes.
I back Mancini.

I'm in no position to determine who is and isn't competent enough to run a football team, as my knowledge about football is limited to watching a few games a week. Therefore, the only logical thing to do is back a manager and allow it to take it's natural course.
Tell you what mate I think you should change your username, 'the voice of reason' would be adequate enough.

This season, we will finish in 3rd place.

I've said it before: The final league table will show that Hughes cost us the title.

There are at least 5 games, that Hughes side drew that I would be very confident this side would win. Add 10 points to our current total and tell me why the notion that we may well have won the title in any way irrational?

I said we would finish 3rd several weeks ago and after watching us today, I'm sure of it. That belief is a lot more rational than the crap about us finishing 5th, 6th or 7th that has been spouted week in and week out on here before today by the self proclaimed 'realists'.

I dont need to check the originalpost I wrote it.

As for your views on supporting the manager... fine we're all entitled to our own views - not sure what point youre trying to make here.

But that is the whole point!!

People AREN'T going on about Hughes, it's just that some posters keep harping on about him and cannot let it rest.

When Hughes is cited as "useless" (which he very clearly is not) then I respond. It's not bloody rocket science is it?!!

I like Mancini, I think we have a Manager that has some real quality.

But I don't think any Manager should be called a Genius or our Messiah one week and then an arsehole the next.

Another poster on her (not you) has alluded to the theory that some on here (and possibly including me) are disappointed that we bagged the win today due to the fact that it strengthens RM's hand. I never felt that he ever needed his hand strengthening. I want us to win all our games, regardless of who the manager is. And to that end, I will support the manager, players and the club as I have done for the past 47 years. I just can't see the point of continually slagging off ex managers (yes, even Alan Ball). They've gone, we (the fans) remain. That's all I have to say on the matter.
