N'Zonzi

It's not the hardest thing in the world to do though is it? There are quite a few rumours about N'zonzi, it's highly possible we will bring another player in during the window, no need to name him, and suddenly he is ITK , not hard really
Not going to get involved in discussion of him as a person but I will say that I know for a fact he's ITK. Make of that what you will.

He's definitely improved since he's moved to Sevilla and the highlights I see of him are usually good. We definitely need a midfielder as well, Gundogan out till the end of the season, Delph a crock and Fernando not good enough, it's whether he's the right choice though. I don't think he's a Guardiola player to be honest.

I personally think we should look to loan a central midfielder till the end of the season and look for a long term solution in the summer and until then get Garcia involved in games when we can afford to, like this Friday.

I think N'zonzi as a whole is probably the best option to play the deep lying midfielder. The problem with Garcia or even if you had someone like Weigl is that although they have good ball control and can pass well out of the back and out of trouble, they won't give you the defensive shield and also win duels in the air. Pep realizes how much PL teams try to lump it forward and mentions how much the ball is in the air and not on the ground. We need someone who can win those aerial duels in central midfield when teams do that to us. Not to mention on set pieces either. N'zoni's passing isn't what Busquets is, but I think it's on par with Dihno and better than Fernando.

Would prefer to sign a short term fix in January and then put in some serious offers for top-class players or talents in Summer.
Naby Keita, Franck Kessié, Casemiro, Toni Kroos, Koke, Julian Weigl, Dele Alli.

Kessie + Casemiro intrigue me since I can see Perez just offloading him and Kessie looks like a tank from the few series A games I have seen.
Kroos/Weigl/Alli/Koke would be £50m+
Keith doesn't seem like the type of midfielder who could deal with the constant aerial balls

One player I don't see us linked with is Bakayoko on Monaco who seems to be able to do everything with tackling, aerial duels, and passing.

Ballague says City aren't interested, in January at least. Probably time to lump on it happening then.

There's no chance Perez offloads Casemiro, Zidane hs made him the cornerstone of their midfield and Perez can't upset Zidane at the moment.

Nah, he's good at January transfers, predicted us signing Casillas and all, deals definitely off.
