To Clarify I'm going to pre-book with lynx won't be trying to flag a cab down randomly lol, looking for a street name nearby I can get dropped off and picked up from.

All depends where you’re ordering it too. No point in saying a location if you have to drive back in the same direction into the chaos!
 
I suppose if you were brave enough to wait as late as possible, you probably would get relatively cheap tickets. Problem is, you'll be half the world away a mile from the stage!

I was talking to a pal today who said the police won’t allow paring anywhere on Middleton Road which is ideal for getting right on the motorway. They directed him to Sainsbury’s car park and it took him two hours to get out!

I would probably walk down Blackley New Road to the bottom and probably ask for pick up on Polefield Road. Bit of a side street but meeets Rochdale Road and come out on Charlestown Road and then on to Greengate and find way to M60. It’s about 25 mins. Come out of Sheepfoot Lane or Middleton Road entrance.

You’ll probably get closer getting dropped off before I’d say. Keep going up Blackley New Road till it gets busy or you’re turned back or even chance coming off the motorway depending how late you leave it. Google Maps on traffic showing red everywhere round there right now.
