Manics are 100% supporting in Cardiff. So LG has confirmed Cast and Ashcroft as support and hinted at the manics.
The manics are too good to be support imho.
If going at least I know I wouldn't be stuck in the park from 3, couldn't pay me to see cast or ashcroft, both average and not worth get up early for
Most bands do European tours. Depeche Mode have just done a tour that started in North America in March 2023, went all round Europe, back to the US before finishing in Europe again in April of this year. Not sure what Brexit had to do with it.Richard Ashcroft as support is brilliant, should be great for people with tickets. I’m jealous.
América before Europe means a huge ticket demand in the UK. Brexit put an end to European tours it costs to much for work visas only two shows in Dublin.
I’m not saying it does only in Europe every band member has to have a work permit and one for every country in Europe so It puts a lot of trade with Europe off music. Most bands do European tours. They’re brilliant live StereophonicsYou'renot alone on that point. To be honest, I'd say the same about the Stereophonics
That tour was a mishmash of venue sizes though i don't think they were very indicative of the bands size at the time, I saw them play in Watford and i think the capacity was around 800-1000, but they also played 3 nights at Finsbury park in front of 120k+.In Sydney they're playing the Accord stadium with holds up to 80k. I watched them in Sydney in 2002 on their Heathen Chemistry tour when I was travelling and they could only fill the Enmore theatre which holds 2500. It blew my mind because Jamiroquai were playing in Sydney at a similar time and were filling a much bigger arena.
It's amazing how Oasis's world wide fanbase has increased since they split up.
I was living in Sydney myself at that time but, from memory, I never even heard about it or definitely would have gone. Must have been focusing on the start of the Ashes series. In Sydney they're playing the Accord stadium with holds up to 80k.
