Though my opinion of the brothers may differ the setiment on a reunion gig I can agree with
Leave it be and be remembered for the great band you were of the time not, don't become a novelty act like the Roses did.
plus those heaton park gigs were awful, they sounded terrible and the poor ice cream van that go pissed up the side of constanly as lazy pissed men in their 40s+ couldn't be arsed to walk to the toilets

I'm a bit ambivalent about if they get back together or not. I was there in their peak and absolutely loved it, but over time my love for the band has lessened somewhat. Still in and around my top10 bands but just not in my top 3 or 4 which they were 20 years ago. Now if the Kinks dusted down their zimmer frames and got back together, or Morrisey, Marr and Joyce decided to have a huge hug and start gigging again then I'd be fucking ecstatic! I'm more for Oasis getting back together so my daughter can see em.

If they come back with the same cocky attitude I will be opting out. You can get away with that when you're in the 20s, but 50s is gonna look sad.
If they come back with some good material that will also be a huge bonus, but my spider senses are tingling over that one.
Pretty sure it will be lacklustre.
In the meantime, I sit and wait to be impressed.
