The pitch tonight didn't look anywhere near full by my vague memories of the 90s/2000s but thought that might have been down to modern health & safety regulations. Proper pisstake if it wasn't actually at capacity.
 
Of the few clips I've seen online, the crowd looked utterly abysmal. Nothing but a sea of phones with people more excited to capture something for social media than actually being there. Thats got to destroy all atmosphere.

Surprised nobody didnt tell them to put them away and experience it first hand.

Managed to get tickets, cannot wait to go! Made up with the set list but disappointed no stop crying your heart out, importance of being idle or Hindu times but so many good songs what do you leave out?

Tell you what, though, I won’t be recording anything I’ll be pissed and enjoying it like a true fan!

Let me clear; I’ll be pissed not throwing piss!

Agreed, I think it was due to a mixture of the whole thing being a bit surreal, the over-anticipation and over emotion perhaps, and of course every fucker filming every song doesn’t help

I’m sure future crowds will improve as people grow it more. And hopefully people realise they don’t need to film every second as social media will already be awash with video clips that all look the same anyway.

From the clips I've seen on Instagram that's not the case, the crowd were singing and bouncing.

Is this the start of tte predictable slaggging the whole thing off snorefest?

Looked quality from the few videos online.. me and the Mrs had tickets for Heaton Park 19th July but she's due to pop on the 25th so reluctantly had to shift the tickets!
 
Honestly, if they banned phones at their concerts(which obviously I know they won’t), it would make them so much better, I think just concerts in general. Was at Oasis 30 years ago, and it was fucking unbelievable, no phones just pure Oasis. They obviously won’t and I think it’s probably not the best idea. People need their phones for more than just videoing the show but if there wasn’t any phones, god it would actually be like the 90s again!!!
