odd games that made you feel good.

Huddersfield away in the FA cup, 1988. It was the season we stuck 10 past them in the league so everyone knew we were going through easily. Everyone except Huddersfield. We were a goal down til the last kick of the game when John Gidman scored with a poorly struck free kick. The tie went to a 2nd replay before we beat them.

Also, the Wigan game a couple of seasons ago when Zabaleta scored the winner, they battered us for the last half hour and Zaki missed an open net from inside the 6 yard area.

There was also a game against Coventry in the FA cup about 10 years ago, when a young Craig Bellamy did everything but score and we got a very late winner.

I feel particularly good about games where we squeek a result without playing very well.

Couple of games were we've come back from being 2-0 down to win 3-2

Sheff Wed (h) about 93ish Kippax was being rebuilt, I was in the North Stand
Coventry (a) about 92ish in the open terrace at Highfield Road pissing down

Norwich away, 2005, the famous Delia game when we came back from 2-0 down to win 3-2.
There was the 3-0 away win at Wolves last season, I just felt like we were such a great team that night, it was Mancini's second game as well.

There was also a 1-0 win against Newcastle in 2004, Wanchope scored the winner, and a 4-2 win against Bolton in 07/08, we went 1-0 up, then Bolton scored twice to put us 2-1 down at half time. Second half, Hamann's shot goes in off one of their's a couple of minutes after the restart for 2-2, Vassell made it 3-2 before Kelvin Etuhu scored his first (and only) goal for us to make it 4-2. I think I just enjoyed the great, emphatic, way we responded to being behind that day.

Midtylland away was quality. We were in with their fans but right next to our lot. Don't think I've ever gone quite as mental as I did for that own goal, and to see about 50 other blues jump up around us as well was brilliant. Portsmouth 6-0 at home was great too, just one of those days where everything we did just went right, even Jo scored. Robinho was magic too, the first time in many years I thought we had a genuine world class player, the backheel flick he nearly scored with towards the end of the first half was absolutely sublime. Stoke and Arsenal at home that season were also top games, The way Robinho and Elano ran rings around a physical Stoke team was wonderful, and although Robinho scored 3 that day it was Elano's 30 yard pass on the volley straight to Sturridge's feet which I'll remember most from that game, took my breath away. Then there was Robinho's chip against Arsenal, pure magic.

Southend away on a tuesday night 1997, we won 3-2 Steve Coppell was manager and I thought we had a chance of turning things around that season.
Stoke at home the following year on Boxing day, the turning point that season with a late winner by Gareth Taylor.

The 2-0 on the opening day of the 2007-08 season against West Ham, I was so proud of how we played that day
