Chelsea were first to every ball, our players were guilty of waiting for the ball far too often. On the evidence of that I would say Chelsea are a bulldozer of a side, they have skill but they tend to outfight the opposition as well, a bit like the Germans in days of old. We'd have been a better match with De Jong and Kompany giving our more creative players a platform from which to build attacks.

Bridge, Dunne, and Neds were absolute brilliant. Could have easily been a nil-nil aside from a small lapse during the set piece.

Chelsea bossed the midfield but that was expected without De Jong and Kompany, we didn't have a prayer. It could have been much worse.

Neds MOM for our side though, had Drogs in his back pocket all afternoon. Good can be taken from this game.

That was a disgusting performance. How can people here actually say it was decent?? Robinho was complete and utter SHIT, as was Caicedo. Zab made a mistake that led to a goal. The defense was for the most part garbage, they made some good defensive plays, but the majority of the time it was pretty brutal.

Robinho and Elano have no heart and no passion. It is very disappointing to watch.

It's almost like we have two teams in City. The one that can kick almost anyones ass, and the one that would struggle in the Coca-Cola Championship.

There were some positives though. Players looking disappointed after full-time was called, Bojinov, personally I thought Etuhu was decent when he came on, and yes, they did look somewhat better after half-time. Even though it was still brutal after half-time.

Next practice.... PASSING!!

So people don't flip out, I just want to add. That despite a rancid performance, I am quite happy with the outcome, 0-1 is good against Chelsea with what we were missing.

And we were away from home with 3 key players missing. I thought we did bloody well considering!!
