same old moan from me

do elano and robinho give a fuck ?and why does he persist in playing them

elano was trying all game to make things happen.......this persecution of elano by some on here is absolutely ridiculous........he is being asked to play a loy more defesively than he really should....tackling and tracking back just isnt part of his game....he isnt athletic enough (like essien is)

rohbnio was so isolated all game......he had no chance.........there are others who had little to no affect on the game as well........swp for one, ireland is another.......players have off days but maybe you should look to the fact that we were missing kompany, and de jong.........who provide a stable platform for the other fair players to play........

we were also playing a full strength chelsea team incuding the likes of drogba, essien, ballack terry carvalhio cole........possibly the strongest line up they could field ...........it has taken them time to build that squad.........players like elano and robinho are part of a squad that is a work in progress (and missing 3 parts of that in kompany de jong and bellamy (who would have given terry and carvaliho a lot less time on the ball)

its funny that people who clearly dont want the likes of robinho and elano in the team convineintly miss things like robinho tracking back (even at the start of the second hal).....also the fact that he had taken a knock on the ankle..........or the fact that elano put numerous challenges in before getting subbed even though he was runnign the risk of a second yellow card and being sent off........but people ignore these facts as it doesnt fit their arguement

we lost but we werent completely over shadowed.........we do lack in the attacking department (especiallly in the cenrre forward position) to put teams on the back foot......but this will hopefully at some point be addressed

It wasn't a great performance, but it wasn't far off from being a good performance either...there are just some details missing that needs to be addressed in training. And obviously we were missing De Jong and Kompany.

Physically not up to it-run off our legs in midfield. Tired and jaded. No focal point to our attack.

Defense played well, particularly Ned.

Hughes gave up on any chance of an equaliser tho when he took off Elano and then Rob.

Elano was our best player, other than Ned, and I don't care how out of the game Rob is, you do not take him off unless he is injured. Blackburn away taught us that and we arent up to the standards of Barca, Real(atleast when Rob was there) etc where they can afford to take off some of the best players in the world.

I'd even go as far as to say it was a poor move to bring big Phill off for Ched. Big Phil, whilst raw, has far more about him that Evans.

losing 1-0 aint too bad ... atleast for the GD.

What rubbish.
We haven't got the quality in depth to be carrying a player for 90 mins week in week out away from home. Your argument might have some weight if there was ANY evidence that Robby has contributed away from home.
It's a joke he gets a shirt away from COMs based on his performances so far.

No-one else would have slotted that one away. There's some evidence for ya.

But if your happy with just watching someone runn into dead ends, like Etuhu, Vass etc, then that is your call.

"Elano was our best player" hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

He was taken off cos he was so poor

(apart from Ned) yes, he was (our best player). He was taken off because Hughes can be a fuckin idiot at times.

Dunne was our best player by a country mile today , absolutely no doubt whatsoever about that ........ Onuoha ran him close though!

oh well

Well yes, but can you see us winning the league next season? It has taken Chelsea awhile to build their squad, but after they got the money it didn't really take them long to get a blinding team. Obviously though we haven't really had that opportunity just yet, so I guess you never know.
