As i made a point earlier, yes barca cant force eto'o out but you have no idea how barca react to this news, if they bench him or put him in b team a year is a hell of a long time in football.

They won't bench him as they won't have a player of his calibre to replace him - you don't cut your nose off. Even if they did that in a years time they still be lots of suitors for him

no he didnt say that at all . the words the deal is off never came out his mouth . the update he gave was info that we have been talking about on here all morning , he expects eto'o to stay , its his opinion only !
