Only if Cameroon qualify. They are currently bottom of their group which is only 4 teams and the top 3 qualify.Long shot but they may miss out

Maybe he was thinking they will have 15 points deducted and given to Mauritius due to them being an island.

Which is why we have RSC.

Can,t agree on them playing similar roles,if anything i think it would be a great combination ?
I think in a lot of games we will play 4 3 3, with Robbie, Eto'o and Tevez

No chance - RSC IS a starter under Hughes have no doubts. He is the physical presence that Hughes quite rightly has said we lacked

During his first season at Barcelona, Eto’o caused trouble when he celebrated the Catalan giants’ title success by chanting anti-Real Madrid songs at the Merengues fans.

Would anyone really mind if he followed this trend in the Derby?

Do we all agree city must still be getting positive vibes from team eto? would we have pulled the deal by now if we thought it wasn't going to happen?

Thoughts....

imo the longer city dont speak the better it becomes for us.

Totally agree.

Isn't it a bit weird not one person from City has said anything regarding the Eto'o deal? I think that's seriously a good thing.

Re: Samuel Eto'o [merged]

Caught up on the Eto'o news, and the press conference seems to have been smoke and mirrors with no firm conclusions. Eto'o has left the door wide open for City, but I can see this dragging on until the window closes. Fortunately we have alternatives up front so we don't need to look elsewhere in the meantime.

If Barca sign Villa, then I think it's highly likely that Eto'o will come to City, but if not, I can see Eto'o seeing out his contract at Barca, with Barca having no choice but to accept this. Barca are not going to let him go without a replacement - I know they have a very talented squad, but I'm not sure if anyone is ready to step into his shoes

Thats right everyone yesterday was reporting that Eto'o would tell us to fuck off today and that far from what happened.

eto cant drag on untill the window closes, hughes has said he wants his targets done and dusted,i think we will give him a certain amount of time then move on,at this moment i'm 95% sure we will sign him

Re: Samuel Eto'o [merged]

hi ducado, suggest you edit your post quickly before the torrent of clarkie comments.....

Re: Samuel Eto'o [merged]

just don't understand. Why if the door has even half closed, why have we failed to make any kind of statement? Let alone the one which (if we are being fucked around as much as it seems) should read Manchester city have walked away from the Eto'o transfer. No way would the club walk straight into another Kaka by being tied to the mast for too long.
So surely our silence speaks volumes............... the club must be prety confident that this is going to happen.
