Could have been. Can't quite remember. Did they say that he was going to Barca or just that Barca were prepared to make a bid. I suppose the latter could have been true at the time, but either way, it does raise some doubts about the accuracy of El Mundo's claims about Eto'o.

I am always suspicious when the news comes from a poster as their 1st post - not offence - just a bit suspicious

No, that was TV3 a catalan TV/Radio service
