Taylor... How many times has Fergie said he will bot sign a player, and he does. ''Not going to sign a player in January'' Signs Tosic and Llajic. ''Not going to sign a player over 26''- signs Owen. The only way out for United is Samuel Eto'o because he is available. I think it's common sense that they will come in for him, because that's the last superstar on the list, and i think Fergie might take gamble with this one. Hope i am wrong though.

What a stupid thing to say!!! I ain't going to get into a debate about what united have won, who they are and what people may be delusional to believe they are not anymore. It's very straight forward.... if united come in and offer him a bi less than us, he'll pick them. I hope i'm wrong, but I doubt it cos like I said before, as much as I hate to admit it...Taggart never gets it wrong.

Agree, i think he'd want to play in the champions league. If he goes to utd, that would be the worst thing ever.

At the end of the day, Reputation does NOT pay transfer fees or pay wages, money does and the signs are that United don't have that! IMO he's more likely to stay at Barca or go to Inter than go to United, as he IS money motivated.

I hope money is everything, but it isn't. I believe Eto'o would rather go to Utd on a lot less than come to us. Utd always seem to pull it out of the bag for some reason. Fergie never falls flat on his face, but i really hope he has done this time.

When I speak of this force, im speaking in terms of sitting at the tob table, i.e. with the top players.
Also I agree Owen will be followed by more but within price.

Finally whoever called me deluded is sad, healthy conversations don't merit such responses.

I think Fergie will address his midfield before he buys another CF

It's not negativity, it's being cautious. I have heard sooo many times on this forum, the boneheads reporting that we have signed Eto'o. I must have heard it a thousand times. We have to take a little caution in this matter because do you really believe Eto'o will just be sold to us without anyone putting up a fight? I hope we can get this deal done quickly :) I just hate all this we will get him lark. We haven't got him, far from getting him. People just trying to boost their own morale by saying we have signed him. But whilst some are doing that, others are pissing people off. It's none stop bullshit and i am starting to worry a little. Positivity is always welcoming though.
