The story may have speculative, but please don't think Utd are not active players in the transfer mkt just because they took Owen on a freeg

Svennis, I think Marvin is talking sense there........The Rat farm wouldn't go into a new season - esp with the strength of the Spainish clubs - with Owen as a main striker to rely on for 60-70 games at the highest level.......
We want Eto'o and to think he would go to the swamp would be a huge blow to us fans but they will sign someone else mark my word. Thing is they are slowly running out of options as they flock to Spain......not many oithers stand out...............maybe Caeceido/Bianci/Corradi/or Birtles,,,,,,,,,,,,,:)
