Official - City end interest in Eto'o [merged]

Re: Samuel Eto'o [merged]

The story may have speculative, but please don't think Utd are not active players in the transfer mkt just because they took Owen on a freeg

Re: Samuel Eto'o [merged]

NOTW come out with some s**t, I just laugh at there transfer gossip, and that lad that does be on Sky Sports from NOTW just talks s**t aswell.

Marvin, what paper do you work for? You have been peddling this outside chance of manure for a while.

This.........
Anyone who thinks Owen is their main signing upfront is naieve....Taggart knows the risk with Owen, but its far less a risk when they sign Player X aswell..............whether that be Eto'o [which i doubt] or whoever...........Taggart is repulsive but objectively he is very good at his job [unfortunatly]

I was not suggesting that they would bid for Eto'o, although I would not rule it out.

Thats a side step. What paper? I would give them a 0% chance of being successful.

Svennis, I think Marvin is talking sense there........The Rat farm wouldn't go into a new season - esp with the strength of the Spainish clubs - with Owen as a main striker to rely on for 60-70 games at the highest level.......
We want Eto'o and to think he would go to the swamp would be a huge blow to us fans but they will sign someone else mark my word. Thing is they are slowly running out of options as they flock to Spain......not many oithers stand out...............maybe Caeceido/Bianci/Corradi/or Birtles,,,,,,,,,,,,,:)

How the fuck would the NOTW get a quote from a source close to Samuel Eto'o?

He's on holiday and his family live in Cameroon and Spain. The legendary unnamed source strikes again.

I hope Yoonited fans get their hopes up about signing him and he signs for us.

Samu's wife and children live in Paris, but the point remains.
