A rags veiw of Eto'o

Paying £30m for a 27-year old like Berbatov is different than paying £30m for a 28-year old like Eto'o. Berbatov relies purely on his technique and class whereas one of Eto'o's main assets is his pace. Berbatov will likely carry on playing at the same level until mid 30s, for Eto'o it is a downhill only after he reaches 30. You pay for 6 to 8 years of Berbatov's service in one case and for 3 years of Eto'o's service in the other case.

The two most reliable ITK's across all City forums agree on the finer points of our transfer business.

There is no way this will not happen now as far as i'm concerned. Our buys for the summer transfer window 2009 will be:-

Barry
RSC
Lescott
Tevez
Eto'o
+ any other that comes off (possibly Terry)

Sweet lord, i'm off for a lie down ....

If they both do miraculously end up wrong then all ITKs are dead to me.

That's it mate. Happyblue is 100% ITK. No doubt at all.

And for him to confirm what SM has been saying on here, who also has a 100% record himself, it's just about as water tight as it gets.

But as you say, if they don't happen, I will swear never to believe in the sacred ITK ever again...

What has Happyblue said exactly?

Can someone quote him?

just a shame owens been on the decline since he was about 24!!!

sick rag tw@ts

i actually think owen will do well for them.....fergie will use him much like he did larsson a couple o seasons ago....sporadically but to good affect

and if he manages a few months without injury they have got a very very good striker on their hands

a good bit of business if you ask me as they got him for nowt (espeically if he is on a pay as you play deal)

it's looking very promising with these 2 ITK's saying this. they are the most reliable from what i've read.
one thing which i remember Ajay saying which stuck in my mind from just as the season finished was that he said we would be getting 4 players from uk clubs (barry, rsc, lescott, tevez?) plus 1 from abroad (eto'o?). or maybe he meant different players!

United aren't in for him and could very well be on a plane to 'South Afreeeeeeka' a week tomorrow.

Just a thought but what if Real suddenly came in for him?
