We walked away because it was dragging on, and the club didn't want to be embarassed at been a last resort. That's the exact opposite effect that we are going for.

I had a feeling from the start he wouldn't end up here. However my feelings were based on the fact that I felt it was 'too much to ask, too soon' and skipping a stage in our development, which evidently wasn't the case as he was actually prepared to come, it was just too complicated.

oh well - onwards and upwards, there are shitloads of exciting strikers in Europe fellas.

what's everyone's preferred plan B then? (bearing in mind we already have a pretty shit hot frontline as it is of course, if Tevez signs)
