They say he's relaxing but if you look carefully in the first picture you can see the bubbles coming from his bum which is still twitching after we announced we have moved on......

C'mon Samu, all is forgiven.... we'll have you back...

lmao

Probably nothing, but with Adebayor allegedly dragging his feet, what chance us going back for our number one target?

Barcelona have given Eto'o another week's holiday, according to El Mudo Deportivo, to gain a bit of time in the hope they will receive an offer. This is contradictory to what was reported yesterday by the same paper, which stated that Eto'o would be welcomed back in to the squad at pre-season training as 'just another member of the squad.'

Adebayor at £25m or Eto'o at £25m + split the loyalty payment between us & Barca..

Which is the better deal?... If Barca come again... do the deal!!!!

as much as i'd like eto'o at the club, its obvious somethings not right, and we can't be taken for mugs. Im not convinced eto'o really wants to come, and its always been about money, so imo we have done the right thing in walking away

If Adebayour is hoping to keep multiple streams of dialogue open about a move, then we should do exactly the same.

Start sniffing again Blues.

I agree, plus we should set a time limit on the Adebayor transfer. Give him until tomorrow morning to make his mind up and then walk away from the deal if he is still umming and arrring, and move onto someone who actually wants to play for us.

Look at us getting all cocky now we've signed Carlos. We would've waited 'til the end of the earth for these sort of players not long ago. Whatever next ? turning Messi down unless he has MCFC tattooed on his forehead.

no way should we go back for eto'o. we've said we've pulled out of the deal and we must mean what we say otherwise nobody will take our stated position seriously in future. as things stand the football world now knows not to fuck with city.

This

or we talk to him again and offer 30 grand a week less.......bet he still comes......a win/win for us there.............

to be honest if we did go back, that statement wouldn't really matter in my opinion. Things in life and football change. Also, the statement said, 'due to his personal circumstaces, the deal could not be concluded', imo its not really we will never do business with Mr Eto'o again is it?

Adebayor isn't fit to lace Eto'o's bo'ots.

At this stage of our development, Eto'o should be beyond us. However, a situation has developed which we need to take advantage of.

100% correct...

To those who read too much into Cook's statement last week... He meant 'at this moment in time, the circumstances'........ etc. The circumstances may/will change and we should be ready to strike if they come back... It's not about 'talking big'... it's about business!!! And that would undoubtedly be good business.

Exactly..

I know it's wishful thinking, but Eto'o (with the recent developments) isn't entirely beyond our reach.

We should swallow our pride and have another crack at this one. Ignore the cliche... but this really is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

i do believe this deal is still on, if you think about it, Eto'o hasnt been surrounded by offers since we pulled out has he? Now, his agent may be begging city to do another deal, for less wages even. I don't see how Eto'o would't want to come here, if he'd seen the Tevez reception the other day, he would be on the first flight to manchester
