Official City v Copenhagen Thread.

I was concerned with their score, not a bad performance to win 3-1 away and 6-1 on agg.

So are they the best team in Denmark ?

simply answered ......no

there are two teams in denmark it is remarkably like the scottish league

occasionally someone has a good year and last year that was aab
¨
as soon as a provincial team in denmark does half decent they lose the majority of their team, the good players move abroad and the average ones move to the 2 big teams,

they are doing rather well in europe but i can only imagine that is against average oppposition, as tonight showed even the best in denmark cannot handle the pace at which we nd other english teams play theyn expect too much time on the ball, tonight we did the right thing by pressurising the man on the balll all the tiime and it showed the difference in class. when zabaleta and kompany get the ball under pressure the get the pass away, fck midfielders didnt.....

City's the only English team left. Aalborg really murdered Deportivo...didn't see any of the matches but I can only imagine Deportivo are focusing on trying to reach a CL spot, quite even in La Liga at the moment. Should be a great match against Aalborg anyway. We are a better side though, we have been pretty lucky with the draw.

Winter break now but FCK are having a much better season. Brondby are on top, but FCK are second, 14 points clear of Aalborg.

Wow they have played well tonight then, we would be pleased at their result tbh.

Nice match today, bellamy looked very sharp. Damn FCK were horrible though. Should have won with more goals.
Next match against Aab (Aalborg) will be exciting, obviously they are much better than FCK internationally, although they are only nr 6 in the danish league. If Aab plays like they did these couple of matches in champions league, and against deportivo la coruna, I think they will be very hard to beat. They are unbeaten so far since Bruce rioch quit. (2-2 at old trafford, 2-2 against villareal home, and 2-1 against Celtic home). But yea, it's gonna be much tougher, but way more exciting.

Another not great, but solid performance in the cup. Don't think we've really put it together in the comp yet, but you have to be pleased with our progress in it so far.

Probably the best thing to happen this season as far as on field performances go.

I thought what we did we did well, professional throughout, didn't panic, waited for the right moment and caught them out twice, also hit the woodwork three times which on other occasions might have resulted in goals, so overall very pleased, and pleased to see the favorites AC go out but a small part of me wanted us to meet them in the final and beat them. Oh well last 16 here we come.

And the rest of the Premiership is out, which is gratifying. Just us fair play league people left.
