Official Copenhagen v City thread

funnily enough, and espically after such a bad show against pmouth, this would be the sort of game city would go on and win a la schalke.....then proceed to go on and get whipped by liverpool on sun.

just cause we r doin so so badly away from home...i'll go 1 nil win city / score draw

Copenhagen are just coming out of their winter break and their record in "Træningskamp" is...

Januar 2009

Træningskamp Malmö FF H 4-1

Februar 2009

Træningskamp Dynamo Moskva A 0-1
Træningskamp FC Cartagena A 0-2
Træningskamp Lyngby Boldklub H 4-0
Træningskamp Stabæk H 4-3

So seems they average 4 goals at home... Oh dear!

Obviously the opposition's not great but they are bound to be big, strong and physical, which as we know, isn't exactly ideal for us!

The pitch size is 105m x 68m (115 x 74 yds) which is similar to Stoke and Pompey... Oh dear!

The realistic plan has to be survival and to limit them as much as possible in the 1st leg and at least try to get one away goal.

I reckon a draw would be a fantastic result and a one goal defeat not the end of the world...

Not looking forward to this at all!

Prediction 2-2........

please!
de jong cant play?

It's currently 23 degrees farenheit in Copenhagen and temperature forcast for Thursday is something similar. Will that make our lot run about a bit or will they just freeze on the night?

We need somebody used to Siberian winter conditions. Where is Jo when you need him? Seriously, I really like the idea of dropping Elano and Robinho, playing Garrido on the left side of midfield. As Ireland is apparently in talks for a pay increase from his paltry 26,000 a week to something nearly double, he should be up for it. So when is Sturridge coming back? We will need a blinder from Given tomorrow.

i'd settle for a draw with an away goal. They will be very hard to break down and physical up top. We'll need to be on top of our game.
