So how come so many of them said he was going to Utd or a few suggesting Arse or Chelsea if they knew he wasn't ?

Either they were lying then or they are lying now, but one thing is for sure, many of them are outright, proven, liars by their own words.

A few thoughts:

a) post-Pep - is another 3 years enough time for Vieira to be ready, or have the board got another 'step' in mind already?
