come on. i bet theres tons of you out there with loads of tales to tell.

i went with sport/flight options and stayed in the renaissaince.

don't have one particular story myself but the trip as a whole was great and being a teenage lad- the reeperbahn was... well you can imagine

that square was rocking before the match and he atmosphere in the ground was amazing

only downer was not so much the result but the performance

anyway... whos startin

Not a story as such, just a few key highlights throughout the day.

Was good to see everyone during the day pissed up and dancing about in the square, singing, kicking the ball up as usual, people climbing monuments waving flags.
The journey on the train to the ground was literally bouncing up and down.
When off the train, there was a great friendly amosphere between both sets of fans. Scall1 was his usual self shaking everyones hand he met, was pretty funny we were stood outisde one of the shops talking to these german lads and a random hamburg fan came over an put a hamburg hat on his head, then walked off.
Had a walk to the ground with them, having a chit chat, had a few pics and exchanged my scarf with one of the lads.
The whole day was quality and the friendly banter with the opposition fans was great, the way it should be.

as above but we left the square for a trawl of some bars outside the square, this is where i became proper wonky, the train journey was the madest ever, the match has pretty much been covered as i had a row with a couple of dicks about the slagging of a certain player before he had even kicked a ball but this was covered in another thread, after the game i dident have a clue where our coach was so i called dannyboy but his battery was going big time but fortunatly he gave my number to a fellow bluemooner (colin, not sure of his username on ere) who guided me in the final treck, luckily i was near there anyway proper blistered feet and a cut hand from trawling the woods and climbing some banking,i can look back now and laugh but i was getting used to the idea of not making the bus...oh yeah i nearly forgot about a little trip down the reaperbahn...lol but thats summat else...

Who was the guy who fell through a sink leaving his arms and fingers in bandages?

Don't know, saw him the day after, said he fell through a sink, it looked like he had been thrown through a shop wind then beaten up. He returned to the hotel at 8am.

Glad to hear you had a good time here in Hamburg.
Everyone i have met from England so far was pretty friendly and we had a good time.

You guys here in Hamburg were awesome even after this 1-way-football match.
Come back again also without a football match.

Thanks for the good and warm-hearted atmosphere.

Greetings from Hamburg
