Crystal Palace have denied suggestions a deal has been struck for winger Wilfried Zaha to join Manchester United.

Looks like a solid signing. Zaha has impressed at Crystal Palace but (if this rumor turns out to be true) lets see how his form translates into the Premier League where the competition will be much stiffer and more will be expected of him as United will be playing in many European competitions as well. Its where the men are separated from the boys.

Really? 15 million for a 20 year old from Crystal Palace seems like way too much money. Also if he's signing a contract now that means he's going to be on higher wages, so when he is loaned back to Palace United will have to pay him for being there.

Thats why I said it could be risky in terms of that they don't know how well he will perform against stiffer competition. If he comes in scores well, its a good deal. But it is a risk especially on a young player and we don't know how he will perform. Granted, if this deal does go forward he will have some time to figure things out since he is so young.
