Who gives a shit, it's pre season ffs.

Let's just hope this doesn't indicate our away form has not been resolved, let the haters hate, grow some thick skin, any fan who's club has such wealth is expected to..
I was just try to put a sensible angle to it , thats all :-)

I wasn't aiming it at you mate, I'm just sick off all this moaning, the goal was sloppy, alot of players aren't fully fit yet as we seen with Robinho, Ireland had a bad game.

Who cares if the Rags lost, drew or won against them, this was our game and we didn't do the buisness, all I care is about how we preform in England.

No probs,,,just wasn't sure.
We will slowly but surely take the premier league away from those
who think they have a divine right to it....and they know it
Thats what makes it more pleasing.
Like to end on a positive note :-)

Posting a comment giving a view on good and bad performances does not mean anyone is panicking. To say it was only a training game is no excuse if a City 11 put their coats down in a car park for a kick about they should be trying to win. They were trying to win today and some players were not good enough.

Exactly
"TOP" teams only see games as a chance to win - not strut about like our posers. Hopefully Ade & Tevez will instill in these twats what is is to actually be a winner on the football pitch, rather than at the Bentley dealership.
This game showed EXACTLY why we need to break the bank for Terry - Chelsea played Seattle the other night didn't they?
In a "pre - season "Training" game.
They WON.
It's a mind set, a mentality that we don't have.

I agree about developing a winning mind set, unfortunately it takes time and winning a few games helps. Lots of positives about today's game and I'm sure we will improve in the next few weeks

Some good performances out their today, thought Barry and Adey played really well. It's all about Fitness and we got a good workout, sloppy goal to give away but hopefully come the start of the season we'll be ready for it. We'll have 1 or 2 CB's by then and also no Ireland,Kompany,Tevez,Robinho(didnt start) also Rsc and Richards today.

Obviously disappointed about the result, thought that Barry and Adebayor looked pretty good.

Bellamy will struggle to get into the starting 11, was gutted to see young Vidal get injured, he looked a decent prospect when i went to training last time.

The next 3 friendlies will give us more of an idea as to where we are, I would expect us to step up our efforts to sign a CB though.

Nedum looked fairly good for his first run-out, SWP was off the pace and yesterday on one of the video clips had a big bandage on his right knee, hopefully nothing too serious and more of a precaution.

My only concern would be the knitting together of the team although it is way too early to hit the panic button, but the positives are there to be seen and whilst there can't be many of today's side who will start against Blackburn, with plenty of players to come back in, I won't be losing any sleep just yet.

We will all be waxing lyrical come the Celtic game and then rairing to go against Blackburn.
