No Sturridge even on the bench? I hope that's because he has a slight knock and not because he's unhappy at being dropped for Bellamy.
 
I hope it isn't a Given type injury and the lad is about to ply his trade in Birmingham for Aston Villa from the weekend.
 
WTF is hughes doing we are playing Newcastle and he picks a defensive midfielder and drops Elano, he is a f**kin clown. Don't worry Robinho you just go home for a jolly while the rest of the lads train

Wow... so short sighted on the board.

Playing two DMs allows us to throw Richards and Bridge forward and double up on the wings or allow Rob/SWP to come inside without worrying too much about getting caught out. Plus I recall Zab getting forward enough to win the game for us against Wigan.
