A tough game ....... Everton travel extremely well , are fairly well organised defensively despite the Villa result , and won't roll over for anybody ...... can't see there bein' too many goals in this one.

An as you can tell by Everton's trophy cabinet they are just as successful as us over the last 32 years. Everton are the only team never to be relegated but lets be honest they have been so stuffy at times. They are no mugs and I reckon its going to be 2-0 City, watched them against Villa the other day and didn't do bad if you take into consideration they have no strikers. Saha could be back.... but so should Robinho :P

So since we last won a trophy Everton have:

Won the league twice and were runners up once
Won the European Cup winners Cup
Appeared in five FA cup finals winning two
Appeared in two league cup finals - runners up twice.
Won four charity shields and shared one

plus as you point out, have never been relegated... our success hardly compares I think you'll agree.

I wish we had that kind of form behind us!!
