Official Match Thread - west ham v city

i have a big feeling that we will batter them 4-0 with a robbie hat-trick as he seems to be running onto a bit of form and is due a goal!!

1-2. Ireland and Robinho for us (Because Bellamy can't score in EVERY game...or can he?)

DAMN I'm slow, I didn't realize Villa was this wednesday until just now!! Damn that is a tight schedule. Hopefully this is were Hughes hard training really pays off.

It is a heavy schedule you are right, but the official web site has not got the Aarlborg return fixture showing and has us playing Sunderland at home on Saturday 21st March. If the Aarlborg game is on Thursday 19th then surely the Sunderland game will be on a Sunday?

This is definitely when the Hughes training should come into its own, I will settle for a draw at West Ham just to keep some momentum going.

The UEFA Cup tie is on Weds 18th.

West Ham v Man City (1230 GMT)

The Hammers have been on a good run but have had a couple of slip-ups of late. They are also suffering from injuries and Mark Noble is suspended.

I was impressed by City against Liverpool, especially Nigel de Jong and Vincent Kompany - I thought the two midfielders performed brilliantly in front of the defence.

Verdict: 0-1

4-1 West Ham :(
