Ordered it and watched the "Fight til the end" Documentary first as it had been given a few good reviews on here (posts been deleted?)
It was alright. The run in this year was obviously very good, but it just cannot be compared to 2012. The 75 minutes of my life between Gerrard slipping and Dzeko putting us one up at Palace (and come on, we knew we weren't going to fuck it up from there) cannot be compared to waiting at the ground for the Wigan vs united game to end, absolutely destroying Norwich, Pienaar scoring the equaliser, Kompany scoring the winner vs united, Yaya dominating vs Newcastle and then everything that went on on May 13th 2012.
Watched til about Arsenal at home on the main DVD. The music didn't bother me. That weapon from the home counties with his hat on the side before Newcastle away saying that "Navas is going to be better than Bale" bothered me though. I know City are trying to shed our "local club for local people" tag, but fuck sake, I don't have a Mancunian accent and I wouldn't have sounded like a dickhead.
Fair enough interviewing Cheeseman or people at Sky, but I couldn't really give two fucks about how that Irish media girl has noticed that the players are 'really focused'. Didn't see the Kolarov Santa Claus bit, but saw "one of the funniest videos of the season" when Richards pretended to be injured (the fucking irony). I didn't buy the 2009/10 DVD but I know since 10/11 they've tried to put a bit of FUNNY stuff in their content. Why? If you're that arsed about Chappy pulling a face then you can go on CityTV/if you want to watch a comedy then by a stand up DVD. I understand that they want to show a bit of character, but I just don't really find it relevant when people who have bought the disc want to see football. Not how really funny it was when Salzburg brough Alan on.
If you didn't guess, I'm still coming to terms with that DVD we got with our season tickets last year and the "FUNNIEST MOMENTS". Like that time when Fowler missed a pen vs Middlesbrough. Yeah, that was so fucking funny that I cried when it happened.
