Notts County came out with lots of fight and energy as expected and pushed us back for the first quarter of an hour. They had a couple of long range efforts and a header form a corner then hit the post from 20 yards. This seemed to wake us up and we upped the tempo. Vieira scored from a corner just before half time. The second half was much better, we were in total control and Vieira headed home his second after 10 minutes or so. Tevez came on for Balotelli who was involved in a clash of heads and was threaded through by Dzeko before rounding the keeper and squeezing the ball home. He repaid the favour soon after, running onto a slightly over hit diagonal through ball before stopping, chipping the ball square across the 6 yard box for Dzeko to head in. Richards completed the rout after the ball fell nicely in the box from a corner, pinging a left footed volley into the back of the net.

Job done. Villa next.

in my opinion poor - first 20 minutes we was shocking - got better as the game went on and the score flattered us a bit - high points Tevez and Edin scoring and assisting each other goals - downside Ballo - was a plank - need to watch MOTD and Kolorov reaction when Ballo get gooked for a stupid fookin foul

Richards is getting better - really chuffed for him

Viera - 2 goals flattered him in my opinion thought he was poot - Yaya quiet

Overall would say the energy around the pitch was low only when Tevez came on did we start upping the pace.
 
jus wana say totally agree about mario. this guy has issues. im becoming increasingly frustrated with watching him play. dont get me wrong the guy has the potential to be world class but all he does is whinge whinge whinge. i for 1 felt nervy everytime he dint get a decision his way today as he was waving his arms here there and everywhere. i feel theres always a big chance he will get sent off and for me this can be real damaging for the team. i certainly dont wana be watching this side of the guy for the rest of his contract. if the guys not happy then just get lost n go back to italy. storming down the tunnel spitting his dummy out. he just dont look interested. just hope he changes is attitude cos like i said he has the ability and potental to be a city great x

but i don't get it you have hardly seen him play, and when you have more often than not he scores. this guy behind me today was shouting at the top of his voice that he hated him and this is why you never get picked son, eh hasn't he been injured
