What I don't understand is how players like Robinho and Elano and others who had good games during the week, seem like they can't be bothered today. Robinho's passes have been awful and the rest of our team hasn't been much better. Why wouldn't they be up for it more?

It's a poor pitch and it's very cold. Not exactly suited to Brazilian football.

To be fair to our lads not even AC Milan with Kaka and Ronaldinho could beat Portsmouth at Fratton Park - they very nearly lost 2-0.

Robinho in training yesterday did everythin he could to make himself available, today he doesn't look bothered at all, he's give it away 5 times and ireland isn't helping him either
