In my eyes this may be the best time to get rid of Hughes if that is what was believed to be the best option. Points wise we are 8 above the drop zone so we can not really be concerned that we will be dragged into the mess at the bottom.

I think we need to ask ourselves with the resources available has Hughes earned the right to carry on with this 'project'. In the window he plumped for proven Premiership players and it looks like this master stroke has not had the desired effect.

Hughes to go as he is out of his depth.

We have got too many difficult away games coming up to ignore the fact that if this continues we are deep shit.
