Go get scolari we have fuck all to loose hopefully he can get them to play week in week out and be able to sort out this dross for the start of next season. The competition to get him in the summer might be alot keaner.MH must go and GO NOW

scolaris not the answer hes in the same mold as mh is filtering ut from chelsea that nhe had lost the dressing room
i dont know what the answer is mind you . matbe give rikard till the end of the season and se how it goes

the players dont like hughes, its obvious, they prefer people like sven because theyre calm and help them out, hughes just shouts, that is ok for most brittish players but most forgien players dont like it, thats why elano is always moaning and given/ireland/bellamy are always trying hard. i think hughes is a decent manager but with modern football he wont get anyware. he would have been amongst the best managers in the world if it was before the 80s which had less puffy players.

so yes, im sorry to kick out hughes but i think we need a new manager and i think we WILL get one in the summer. this has been my view since we got him. i thaught he was just a last min thing to get us to january but it looks like he is staying untill summer, and in the boards opinion not mine, untill summer and no further.

Given: 7 - Let down by his defence, couldn't do anything about either goal. When called into action was fine.
Logan: 6 - Good going forward and fair defending.
Onuoha: 5 - Not his best game for us.
Kompany: 6 - Best of a bad bunch, and seemed pretty solid in the 1st half.
Bridge: 5 - Poor game, was bossed by Johnson.
De Jong: 6 - Alright performance, seemed pretty solid in midfield.
Zabaleta: 5 - Not his best game, but played alrightish.
Ireland: 6 - Tried to get forward but his final ball was often poor.
Elano: 4 - Poor game. His passes were often wayward and lost the ball often.
Robinho: 3 - One of his worst for City. Never got involved, and when he did get the ball he did nothing with it.
Bellamy: 5 - Anonymous. However, this wasn't all down to him, he got no service.

Caicedo: 5 - Didn't do much.
Evans: Turned off my stream so can't mark him

Hughes' tactics: -1: When will he realise that smacking it up to midgets who can't reach the ball doesn't work?

someone said (can't find it now) that Scolari would have it in the terms of his pay-off that he can't take over another PL side this season - but surely we have the financial power to cicrumvent that if we really wanted to, Scolari hands his pay-off back, we fully reimburse Scolari.

having said I don't think it will happen because the owners don't seem given to rash decisions and unfortunately I think Hughes will be here until the end of the season (although it's looking more and more likely he will be off then, barring a massive turnaround which looks unlikely..)

I would take Hughes over Scolari, and that's saying something.

this

but Hughes' tactics needs a 0 and i think Given deserves an 8 for that save when neugent broke thru

Personally on today's non-performance I would take Tony Adams over Mark Hughes...get rid FFS.

I can understand you saying that because obviously Scolari hasn't done anything this season to show that he's a good manager in this league - but do you not have that feeling that Robbie and Elano would just play for him?

bottom line is they (and a few others besides) just don't seem to want to play for MH, and these are important players we're talking about..

We just looked clueless again today, no shape again, no width, no apparent attacking ideas. Too many long aimless balls again, too often giving the ball away.

How many times did we get behind their defence?
How many times did we have any kind of threat in front of goal?

We played a team that hasn't won at home since fucking November and we didn't even threaten them. And I don't go in for the new manager syndrome either, they were almost as bad as us, they didn't look inspired at all.

I'm trying to avoid the knee-jerk 'Hughes out' but we've seen performances like this too often this season, and I don't think Hughes has any answers. By the end of the game I couldn't even see what our fucking formation was, we were all over the place. Elano and Bellamy were at right back at one stage!

WITH THE PLAYERS WE HAVE, WE SHOULD BE MUCH, MUCH BETTER THAN THIS.

Nobody can defend a perfomance like that today utter ruubish

I agree, I watched the game in the local pub and it was as bad an away performance that I've seen this season. Hughes' tactics are bizarre to say the least and we'll be lucky to pick up any points away from home if there are many more performances of that standard. To sum up Crap!!

why would they want to play for him why did he play a kid at right back his debut too away from home ffs all he had to do was slot zab back there just play with 1 holding mid and play 442 ts not fucking rocket science

we should be 5th/6th at the least, with the capability to break into the top 4. but the players arent bothered.

Hold on people. Are you all forgetting about how poor we are away from home? 2-0 to Porstmouth in my opinion.
You were right. I can't believe some of the people on here who always predict daft wins for City, like a lot predicted 3-0 to us today, there really are some deluded people on this site.

After Freestylers training ground report i was feeling quite confident 2 hours obviously not long enough
