Congrats guys, I'm a HUGE mancini fan.

Been following him since he started he's managerial career in italy. Not a single year past by with him that he didn't win a trophy. HE IS A WINNER.

People (in here) say that he plays a boring football but that is simply not true. With lazio the team played an attacking very compatitive football and he won the coppa italia.

I'm pretty certain that he'll be a success in england. He's a great man manager and knows how to motivate he's players. Personaly i "always" rated him higher than Mourinho. You will like him nodoubt.....

Thanks interisti, I was hoping you would come on here tonight.

I have heard and read a few things that have me hopeful for the new regime, but if I had a quid for everytime I had said that over the years...

;)

Welcome Roberto (great name BTW)

I'll start to judge you in twelve months when you've had a good pre season and been able to bring in the recruits you believe are needed.

Saying that, you have to beat those rag bastards in January

Unconvinced that he is any better than MH tbh

I think you'll probably find that chances are those who say he plays boring football simply don't know much about him. They think "he's italian and italian football is boring and defensive therefore mancini plays boring football"

What city need, and have been lacking with Hughes imo, is a great man manager, so that's good to hear.

As someone who has been watching Serie A my whole life, I can say this:

Mancini is a good manager with certain short comings, but there's one positive attribute he has which really stands out:

He's excellent at rotating the squad. Regardless of the players he played, he always managed to grind out a result. Of course, Inter were very reliant on Ibrahimovic, Cambiasso and Maicon, but in general other pieces could be swapped with each other without making much difference on the pitch.

He knew how to use his players and bring out the best in them, which made even average players look good.

I'm behind him, we have an assistant manager who knows the league inside out, mancini is class, he may not know the league but he knows his football and hopefully he can lead us on,

i can't wait for the stoke game

IN ROBERTO I TRUST
Is this the man you trust?

The Milan-based daily "Il Giornale" has published a police report alleging Italian football champions Inter threw away matches at the end of last season in order to increase gambling odds.

Focusing on the last games of the season, when Inter unexpectedly lost a seven-point lead over second-placed Roma, the report alleges former coach Roberto Mancini "deliberately lost and drew games to help facilitate gambling bets."
We got rid of one bent crook in Thaksin and now it seems we have another. Give me an honest man like Hughes any day of the week.
