I tell what will happen in the next cpl of years if we get successful, they will force you to join the direct debit scheme if you buy a season ticket, and i for 1 (as long as they keep prices low)think it will be a good thing it will stop a half empty eastlands in the future

What a load of shit.

If someone at City made that decision then they would be as big a **** as Glazer and mob at United.

That is a snide trick right out of his book and the only reason that sort of thing is ever implemented is to shaft people out of money.

It's a good job that you give away your age with your username, so we can all write that sort of bullshit off to the ramblings of a naive 19 year old. Otherwise, we'd have had to assume that it was someone with a bit of life experience advocating the implementation of a policy dreamt up by some of the biggest scumbags in football.

(NB: for other 19 year olds. Yes, yes, I know there are plenty of wise and intelligent and reasonable 19 year olds. But statistically there more 19 year olds than older ages who haven't got the capacity to empathise with anyone whose life doesn't mirror exactly their own experiences, as the above shows. What other reason would cause someone to advocate a Glazer policy? FFS!)
Gonna argue with you there. I'd say most 19+ year olds are now being forced to be sensible with their cash, and most are. It's not an age range, it's an attitude range.

Seriously, most 19ish yr old blues have grown up in working class families, so know how much money has to stretch. The above clown obviously has had everything paid for by daddy.

Don't have a go at those who payed the money to go and watch a shit game in a half-empty stadium. Have a go at those who couldn't be arsed but will queue for hours if we get to a final. And before the high horse brigade hit me, I'm not talking about people with money issues, work commitments or whatever. But if you couldn't arsed going last night but will want a ticket for Juve, and for any other big European nights, then have a go at them.

May I remind the moaners than Juventus, the best supported team in Italy with 12 million fans there apparently, only had 18,500 for their home leg against Strum Graz.

Liverpool had to drag ST holders into Anfield to manage 39,000 against Trabonzapor last week.

We had 23,500 against a team I'd never heard of a month ago, which is a good effort in my view.

Some people on here have talked about City doing a "3 match deal" for instance where you pay £50-60 for all 3 home group games as it helps fill the empty seats, it might be a decent idea the club should look at. Some think the Juve game will sell out too, I'm not sure it will but I'm going

Why should anyone have a go at anyone for exercising their choice to go, or not to go.

If you went, good luck to you. Hope you enjoyed the night. If you didn't, good luck to you, hope you enjoyed whatever it was you ended up doing.

I'm guessing a few people here can't cope with a bit of banter about empty seats, I can't think of any reason why someone would care whether someone else goes to a game or exercises their choice to do something else.
