Official: The Atmosphere Was '****' tonight.

It shouldn't be down to the club to do anything.
But everything from the club is family this and children that, which is nice, but it makes for a shit atmosphere.

Sorry mate but thats balls, their where three other stands tonight. To blame the family stand is just wrong, and a cop out.

It was pretty awful tonight atmosphere wise, but that's what's to be expected. It's been like this for years, there's just no buzz and excitement at games like these. Extremely embarassing.

that's not on 2bh, especially when they've made a big deal about catering to kids.

I felt sorry for the stewards to be honest, they where really nice guys and took loads of stick. As usual three or four catering supervisors suited up stood around having break downs. I dont get how it was so hard, they know the numbers they where expecting, they issued the vouchers with the tickets so knew the exact number of people where comming. To run out and make people miss 40 + mins of the game was pathetic, worse still it looked like loads of them where newbies.

not only that but how many parents would have thought not to feed their kids cos they were "getting a meal at the ground"? and then have to go home on a weeknight and then feed them before trying to get them to bed? ludicrous.

I'm not blaming the family stand at all, I think it's great actually.
What I'm saying is the the deals to try and get a higher attendance were based around families ie kids eat free.

Free pie or 1/2 priced burger and a £10 ticket i'd have gone tonight.

Or a free flavoursome chunky sausage roll made by Marco Pierre White himself.

It would keep him busy, proper hells kitchen if he didn't serve up the goods on time!!

I couldn't be arsed singing tonight. I had just played a football match, so I turned up at half-time, anyway. I'm more bothered about those who live locally who didn't show. 23,500 is pretty shite, considering people were splashing out £50 against Liverpool.

I was gutted with the turn out tonight as well mate, maybe were a dying breed in football fans. I personaly cant stand knowning City are playing and not be their, especialy at the home games. But thinking back ive not missed one of them for about 5 years

Hahahahaha jesus christ, lets put things into perspective here for a minute shall we. We were playing on a Thursday night, against a shit team that nobody has ever heard of, in a competition that half of us don't even want to be in, with a first leg win already secured. Excuse us for not being too arsed about singing our hearts out in utter joy. We're all proud blues and we're more than capable of outsinging any set of fans in the country, but seriously, you've got to get real if you think any club's set of fans would have been up for this game.

Perhaps I've missed something?
