Official: The Atmosphere Was '****' tonight.

I have to say I'm partly to blame. I had a ticket for tonight but couldn't come as my daughter is running a high temp. I think my voice would have raised the roof a little extra. Gutted I couldn't go to be honest.

I thought we did well to get 23,500 or so , for this game .....

i thought we'd get 5,000 less !

Sorry guys, my fault for the shit atmos. worked late and couldnt be arsed to drive.
I'll get me tin hat on.
personally i think that despite good numbers for a team that no ones heard of, the lack of atmosphere is from the lack of excitement, if its poor opposition, in what people deem to be a datf round anyway, and were 1-0 up, then those that have bothered (and I give credit to you all) drive , dont drink, and lets be honest, who thought we would lose tonight?? hands up. all these together make for a piss poor atmos. if it would have been lets say, lazio, ac milan , someone you've heard of and are worried that the result is in the balance when you get that result , its just better. if your nervous before the match then ppl have a bevvie (even for the evening games)

Personally, i live in warrington, which means train or drive or cadge a lift. i hate driving. having a bevvie and a laugh is what its all about for me (and a good sing) so on an evening fixture for someone rubbish although i hear great things about their fans, i just thought nah. i already took half day so i could make an evening of it for the dippers, couldnt justify it today, and i nkow theres planty like me so i thought , i'll not even bother goin cos i'll come back pissed off, just like you :)

I know its wrong, but its the truth guv

I've been talkin' to someone who watched it on computer stream ....... and he reckons that during the 2nd half you couldn't hear the Romanians singing at all.

Take into account the opposition and it is totally understandable imo.

FC Timawotsit were awful and punters knew they were going to put 10 men behind the ball against a second string City side.

you fail to add that the second string you call it, was as good as most teams we put out for lots of prem games last season

Same names same knobheads, the atmosphere the atmosphre, do you realise how pathetic you sound. Barely 3 days ago you watched the blues destry liverpool in a full stadium with a great crowd roaring them on & all you can do is slag the fans off because it wasnt the same tonight. Wish you miserable twats would give it a rest you do the club no good.

SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

it was shit, i knew it would be, even the players got bored i think, it was meaningless in the end, they hardly put anyone forward and they never made a game of it, i think they just wanted to keep it respectful to be honest.

they had nothing to lose, but they really never went for it tonight, we just kept it simple and it was a standard win, people around me after 70 minutes were leaving, some messing about on their phones and others reading the matchday programmes.

we could be sat here with another hamburg night on the horizon very soon.

Hahahahaha jesus christ, lets put things into perspective here for a minute shall we. We were playing on a Thursday night, against a shit team that nobody has ever heard of, in a competition that half of us don't even want to be in, with a first leg win already secured. Excuse us for not being too arsed about singing our hearts out in utter joy. We're all proud blues and we're more than capable of outsinging any set of fans in the country, but seriously, you've got to get real if you think any club's set of fans would have been up for this game.
Thank god a sensible poster
