Silva's chance to make it 2-0 was huge. Of course after that Spain didnt want to defend, run, so deserved everything what they got and 5-1 was lucky for them 8-1 wouldnt have been undeserved...

Ramos, Pique, Casillas all were awful. Their midfielders hardly any better.

If they cant even get out of the group thats huge. 2nd place is possible for them still but that way its Brazil-Spain in next round. Given that yesterday I was far from delighted with Brazil wouldnt be a bad fixture, one of the deserves to go home.

But dont write Chile off, great team, very strong mentality, good pressing tactics.

Casillas is an absolute liability. Has been for 2 seasons. His attitude is shocking as well. His toys will come out the pram if he gets dropped. Just like when mou dropped him at Real Madrid.
 
I'm not sure if it has been asked so sorry if it has. Can they ban Costa after this match for that headbutt?

My announcers certainly believe it's a distinct possibility.

What is he supposed to do? Stand on the goal waiting for Casillas to make mistakes?
