Because he scores more than Welbeck, Chicarito and all their "young" stars.

Whilst Mario has outscored Wellbeck , i don't think he's quite outscored Hernandez as of yet ..... but then again i don't think Mario has played quite as many games for us , as Hernandez has for them , and , to be fair , he's turned out to be quite some buy for them , considering what they paid.

Balotelli would be a risk for any manager to take , and i doubt his kind would sit well with someone like Fergie ...... okay Fergie has had his problems with the likes of Beckham , Tevez and Rooney in the past , but Balotelli is quite clearly 'somethin' else'!

Yes, and I'd even offer them in his contract compensation for every time he got sent off or charged by the FA.

Tevez has said he doesnt want to be here and is getting along age wise but I would not sell him back to United.

Grant Holt has scored the same amount. Yakubu and Dempsey more.

Id accept £30m for him from anyone but wouldnt sell him to the rags. He has potential and may well be world class but its his antics (on the field) that need to go. He is unprofessional. He dives, he moans all the time to ref who just can't wait to book him as a result, he argues with team mates on the pitch and sometimes goes missing. You can't rely on him.

the Tevez situation forced Bobby's hand though and Mario has therefore played far more than he would have had we had a world class player that wasn't AWOL

now in the summer he may well sell him but he couldn't have done that in jan even if he'd wanted to

Cantona played a major part in that breakthrough first PL title for the vermin, just like he did the season before for Leeds. Balotelli hasn't had anywhere near the same impact for us. Not sure what your point is.
