Cantona played a major part in that breakthrough first PL title for the vermin, just like he did the season before for Leeds. Balotelli hasn't had anywhere near the same impact for us. Not sure what your point is.

He scored 9 goals in all comps in that first season for them. 25 the next in all comps then 14 then 19 after that and he was MUCH older than Mario.

He was never going to be an out and out goalscorer. How many assists has Mario got?

Out of interest how many penalties has Mario scored this season?

I think about 4 its just strange how some excuse the behaviour of some players and call for the heads of others.

They are not excusing it though.

They are highlighting at least they did a fair bit on the pitch and contributed to the overall success they had.

The scales for Balo are way out of sync in favour of the bad side.

Nobody is condining what Cantona did that i can read tbf

I guess the point is that Utd could have gotten rid of Cantona after that, they didn't, they stuck by him after he assaulted a fan, and he is regarding as one of, if not the, best player they've ever had.

Whereas our fans on here are all too ready to throw Mario under the bus because a great season as unfortunately gone wayward towards the end.

He has not from the fans though, we can only show our displeasure and i think it's fair to say most fans given the option would have seen him gone in January.

I want Tevez gone badly, i do fail to see though how it relates to the points in this post.
I was vocal like loads of others on here, he did in fairness get both barells imo, and rightly so.

Exactly. Everyone was so pathetically happy to see Tevez come back. Balo wouldn't have been starting so often if he hadn't been left to the responsibility.

I seeMario trying, and sometimes making stupid mistakes. He's not a liability. Mancini left him on the field FFS.

How often does he score? @every 70minutes or so? That's fuckin tops.

How is Tevez playing ahead of Dzeko, WTF is that?
