We may have a stronger squad but we almost certainly have not got a stronger first 11.
Getting rid of AJ was a mistake - although I understand the reasons and the politics and losing Nigel for such a low fee was criminal.
The jury will be out on Sinclair and Garcia and Nasty for a long while and we did not get a "Marquee" signing.
Maicon as a Wing Back is the only dead cert that I can see and that's if we go down that road.
Where we have done really well is getting the "Deadwood" off the Books for FFP and showing other Clubs that they cant take the piss but it has come at a cost.
Scum and Chelsea have improved more than we have.

I cant argue with that mate. Good post.
Terry and Wio certainly on their last legs, Evans and Luiz both garbage,Evra past his best etc.
Smalling,Cahill,Cashley and Ivanovic are all excellent but I wouldn't swap ours for what they have.

Right there with you lads, we are undoubtedly stronger than we were before the window, some young up and comers, Maicon for some experience, deadwood out, mixed with some of the class we already have = top notch squad. Bring on the rest of the season.

Nope you are not alone, but saying that, at the time Prior was a good signing.
