Only if Peter got a buttyI wonder if Trumann’s supplied the steel for the fencing!
Don’t forget the men walking round shouting half time scores- racing result's.Honestly, you;re bang on.
Cigarette smoke billowing around the streets as you made your way to entrance, with the upgrade to cigars at Christmas!
The smell of burgers, hot dogs and onions and the guy with the billboard asking you to repent your sins!
And finally a ground full of people who cared about the result!

The entrance next to the 4"deep piss bog at Platt Lane end of Kippax stood a chainsmoking guy selling Westlers burgers n' hotdogs from his cart. I used to buy a burger from him now and again until I saw him drop cig ash on a burger. He thought no one noticed as he craftily hand swept it off.Dirty burgers
Lovely
Only a zucker would fall for such an outlandish claimChelsea fans at Maine Rd. Think that ugly git on the right later went on to create Facebook.

Is that Wyn Davies, front row third from the right? I’m guessing this was taken shortly after the North Stand had been built?Hard to recognise some of them with those hoodies on. View attachment 159865
Wynn Davies what a player for set piece’s. Head it down from a corner and in it goes by one of our players in front of the northstand. Is that Wyn Davies, front row third from the right? I’m guessing this was taken shortly after the North Stand had been built?
1972 apparently. Can anyone do a full line up?Is that Wyn Davies, front row third from the right? I’m guessing this was taken shortly after the North Stand had been built?
Timeline fits with the North Stand.1972 apparently. Can anyone do a full line up?

I’m struggling with back row second from left and (assuming I’m right about Wyn Jones) and the two on the right on the bottom row - although the one second from the right could be Marsh. Depends when in 1972 it was taken!
Interesting they all appear to be wearing Adidas hoodies despite the kit supplier being Umbro at the time.
Assumed that was Pardoe mate. Looks like him imo, although of all the ones I'm more sure about he’s the one I’m least sure about!Yeah, almost sure that's Wyn the Leap.
It's not Cliff Jones, that's for sure ;-)
The two Davies: Ron and Wyn. Born the same year. Both great in the air.
Yeah, that's Rodney, no question, now you suggest it. Who's on the far right next to him, though? And who's standing behind him, next to Skip? Could it be Tony Towers? I don't have a very clear memory of his face, funnily enough.
