Went in just once and a woman told me she used to chase me off her garden when I was a kid!! Never went again

I don't remember Baly Hood, where was that?

Looked at a house a few years ago on what was Scandals. Couldn't stop thinking about that sticky carpet and the hours I'd stood outside waiting for a cab.

I was too young at the time but my Dad used to go in the Bees Knees on Oldham rd In the 70's.
It was at the bottom of Broadway in Failsworth.

I saw The Walker Brothers there in 1973. It was called The Broadway Club at the time.

Ballyhoo was on Manchester Road where the Avant Hotel was built. Only went in a couple of times. All bamboo decor as I remember lol

Lots of good nights in Montys after falling out of the bath house, did you have to go up some stairs to the Candlelight ? Things are a bit blurred :-)
