Pemps in Wigan.

Pips "behind the Cathedral" as the TV ad went. What a place, especially the Roxy/Bowie room at the back.

Wigan Casino, nothing like it, three before eight and all that followed by Wigan baths.

As for "Pemps", get a grip, went tons of times (members only, bridgeblue will get that) and it was allways bobbins but the lesser of the evils at the time (sorry Barbara RIP). You must be looking through Stella tinted glasses mate ;-)

Fucking hell I'd forgot all about the Homestead. My mum and dad had their wedding reception there.
It was knocked down in the early 80s. I used to go rabbiting just at the back of there. Seem to remember they had a football pitch at the back.
