Used to go there for the strippers, I think it was Thursday nights, it was full of numpties.

Don't think anyone has mentioned The Continental Club in Manchester, jammed packed full of student nurses. I spent many a Friday night in there, end up in Fallowfield at a nurses gaff, back to Middleton on Saturday morning and then back up Saturday afternoon for the match, happy days!
 
Jekylls of Hyde in Hyde. Did this place exist or am i imagining it? I was too young to go in but i always remember walking past it

Ye Gods, the Conti. I was a Student Nurse 75 - 78 (Male, just to be clear) and spent many a happy hour in there. Got my ear pierced with a Buzzcocks badge whilst sat next to the Jukebox. Around the same time I had a job behind the bar in Pips. Think it used to claim to be the largest Nightclub in Europe at the time.
