To be honest there's not much else they could have said.Burnley FC said it was a small minority so-called fans and will deal with it, and they are not welcome anymore

We moved to Oldham 4 years ago and have had no major issues. The area within a mile radius of the centre is pretty grim, but slightly further afield, it’s countryside and lovely.
My wife is a governor for 4 local schools. None have been visited by any Oldham players whilst we’ve been here. They absolutely could do more.
That was one guy who paid for the banner, I’m sure the Asian community can see past one madman, the same as I do when I go to pop concerts in ManchesterBurnley fans flew a plane over The Etihad with "White Lives Matter" on a banner trailing behind it ,just 2 years ago in 2020.
I don't think many Asian people are going to feel welcome with those types of shenanigans going on.
You can give away free season tickets to all 10 year olds, then when less than 1% get used once you give it up as a complete waste of money.yep
the club should be all over places like that and get the kids involved, even with free tickets to get the club name across to kids,
before the big change of owners and money at Manchester city, we always had a good community links and loads of school being visited and free tickets given out, that was when we had nothing and struggling city still had the links in the community,
Oldham should be giving out free ticket to kids and people to get the crowds back, mums and dads with kids spend money on food and drinks, so the lost will be worth it in the other hand
Maybe but season ticket waiting lists and single game expense makes lower league clubs much better value for parents with kids.Success ultimately brings fans. When you have City and United on your doorstep and on TV all the time with Oldham barely getting a mention, kids are going to gravitate to those teams.

We tend to deride people with 2 teams but it's the way forward, watch the local team at 15.00 on Saturday then TV for the other. That's what I'd be doing if I had young kids and didn't bleed sky blue blood.
Too much history. Those teams wouldn’t want to become B teams. As much I hate the idea of sisters clubs, teams like Oldham and Bury could benefit from city or united taking over
you could have Oldham city or bury united, also gives the big clubs of using the EDS teams in first team football in the lower leagues,
