Salford City are a good example also, the fans were annoyed when the United lot changed the clubs colours from orange to red. They wanted to drop the City name as well & rename them Salford United but the supporters wouldn't have it.

Shocking kit colour clash! However, for reasons too numerous to go into here, I never want the six fingered inbred Biffos to win so much as a throw in ... :-)
