yes i did!

i met mark kennedy at the duke (he was drinking cider) alan was and is a big blue

he sold on to another alan who is blue. we must have met.

Yeah I bet we have. Its a small place! Yeah Big H has it now. He's a massive blue & so are his two brothers.

it's a shame as now it's full of coke heads

went in after a gig recent and felt threatened

not a tight ship like the first alan.

I went once, my friend got repeatedly punched in the face and everyone had a white noise and owl eyes. Good times.

Theres a new one sprung up at Heyside Cricket Clube. 1st thur of every month,
I've not been yet, but the guy who's running it (Bing) is a top bloke if you know him.

Top chap is Bing, we had him on our bus for Villa away in the cup.
Not a bad set of people at Heyside, only a small set up as its early but very nice and accomodating.

Is Sid still up at the Morning Ster, he's a big Blue.
Proper village mentality in Shaw, I was never fully accepted working there because I was an outsider.

I've not managed to get to a meeting yet, I work shifts so its not always easy to get the time off.

You must have opposable thumbs!!!!!!

No the morning star has changed hands as far as I know. Did watch a few games in there, but whenever our away games clashes with a rag game we lose out & they switch us off. I highly recommend Milnrow Con Club to watch ANY city away game. Cheap beer, loads & loads of blues, loads of screens & a good atmosphere. Deffo the best place to go in the Oldham / Rochdale area.

Shaw used to be good in the early 90's when pubs like the Moulders were open. Its died a death as OMBC have moved scroats off Sholver & the like in over the years.

It looks lovely..?!... what part have you seen?

the outskirts (where i live) is lovely

i'm surrounded by hills and a few resy's

i'm guessing he means closer to the yorkshire border, where i am.

Ha Ha Ha. Stu, you are a Shaw Gorby, how can you say its nice lol. The only places I drink in Oldham are Jacksons, Whittles and the Buck and Union. Haven't been on Yorkshire street in about 6 years.
