Scientists are set to study Shatovs pubes which have a higher tensile strength than spider silk.

Is he still here?

You've got it round the wrong way, there is no way that you can compare Shatov to Sterling and KDB, as already, Sterling and KDB have outperformed him throughout their whole careers.

Taken from wikipedia
  • Shatov - 224 Games, 33 Goals, 20 international Caps.
  • Sterling - 105 Games, 22 Goals, 18 International Caps.
  • KDB - 192 Games, 42 Goals, 38 International Caps.
Both KDB and Sterling are younger then Shatov, and have played in stronger leagues, and stronger teams, and already are outperforming him.

Sterling has a better goals to game ratio to him, and has almost already eclipsed his number of international caps and is five years younger then him. He is already better and in all likelihood still can get better! Again - to reiterate he is playing in a stronger league, against stronger opposition week in week out.

KDB has played roughly 15% fewer games, yet has scored 25% more goals and has almost double the amount of international caps, might I add, for the team that is currently ranked at number 1 in the world rankings. Again he has played in a stronger league, against stronger opposition week in week out.

Both England and Belgium are in the top 10 in the world rankings. Russia isn't even in the top 20. Sterling has two less international caps, whilst being five years younger than Shatov. He is already contributing more on a world stage. Likewise KDB is contributing more at all levels already whilst being younger. There is no comparison because they are hands down better then Shatov.

You take any measure (transfer fee paid, goals to game, international caps, goals, assists, clubs they play for, leagues they play) across their careers to date, to normalise against outliers, and it is clear for all to see that Shatov is not as good as these players.

Like I said to the others, you are not taking anything to context. 100+ of those Shatov appearances was for a low level Siberian club with very low resources. Shatov worked himself to the top of Russian football from the bottom. Same can't be said about Sterling or KDB. Shatov wasn't even an established player in Russia until Anzhi bought him. I said over and over, Sterling/KDB cannot be compared to Shatov at this current moment. Russian football is different to English football. Players like Jo, dominated Russian League yet failed in PL or flipside, players like Willian were not great in the Russian League but Willian is a top player in the PL.

Again, my argumentation has always been about the present season. You can't dwell on the past at all. Using that logic, at present Rooney is a better player than Kane because he has better overall stats in the past. No team will ever buy a player because of their performances 1-2 seasons ago, it's all about the present. Shatov has proved he is a great player with this season's performance not only in the league but in the CL too. Shatov has always had the potential since Anzhi bought him but didn't have the finishing touch for his stats, like Coutinho. Just look at Coutinho, he hasn't managed past 5 assists/goals in a season but why do you think Liverpool fans think he's their best player? Even better than Sterling. That fella has massive potential.

All those stats you mentioned of KDB are irrelevant this season, yes it was relevant last season. Teams will never buy a player that has a bad present season but had great past seasons. Shatov, however, has interested top European sides including Dortmund and an "unnamed" top English club. At this current season, Shatov stastically is ahead of Sterling and is ahead/on par of KDB, depends how you look at it.

Sterling 15 games, 5 goals, 1 assist. Shatov 16 games, 7 goals, 8 assists. Yes Sterling plays in a better league, of course but Shatov is PL level player, he's showed it in the CL this year so far.

It was pretty silly of you to bring up the rankings of Belgium, England and Russia. Lol, what has that got to do with anything we are discussing?

Wes Brown is technically a PL level player.
