PEP @Azinchenko17 has showed me the importance and value of being a good guy. At the beginning of the season he was close to making a transfer, and I never saw one bad face or training session from him. He is going to have a long career, here hopefully!

Of course Pep will keep Zinchenko - if he's willing to play for us on his current salary as a non-regular starter - then I absolutely want him in our side.

To be fair, I think he wasn’t in a horrible position for that chance and pulled his boot away at the last second as he would be reaching and didn’t want to score a beautiful tap-in own goal (he was practically at the penalty spot).

Agreed. Not the 10/10 performance we saw from him on Sunday, and a few poor decisions - Sergio does it too, but is forgiven because he does it further away from our goal, and of course because of his goal scoring - but I don’t think he’s anymore liable than say Walker is.
I’ll fully admit I wasn’t sure of him at full back, but he’s grown on me this year, as has Gundo, and it’s great to see a young player with so much confidence. Maybe he can share a bit of it with Mahrez.

He did make one particularly poor pass but over the course of the game he made over 90 good passes.

Thought he was good again tonight. His passing cross field was excellent, and he put some good crosses in too.

Very good for 75 mins then I think fatigue got the better of him and he seemed to switch off a little playing some very sloppy passes across the middle t9 west ham players.
